Forest Bathing is basically just being in a healthy forest, sitting, strolling, walking, lying down. It has been proven by scientists to improve mood, lower cortisol and other stress hormones, boost the immune system and lower blood pressure. According to Taoists, trees have Chi and meditating near them can elevate consciousness. The larger the tree, the bigger the effect, although it's important to find the right size and type of tree for you.
